Alessi — Ciro the Pulcinella AMGI50 1 | Hand-painted porcelain figurine

There is something ancient and irreverent about Ciro, carrying with it centuries of commedia dell'arte and condensing them into five centimeters of white porcelain. The mask of Pulcinella — that timeless face that has passed through the alleys of Naples, court theaters, and popular prints — reappears here with an almost childlike lightness, hand-decorated with the artisanal care that only Italian manufacturing can convey. A small object, yet capable of occupying space with the same overpowering vitality as the character it embodies. Massimo Giacon designed this figurine as part of Alessi's A collection, the project that has been gathering symbolic objects at the intersection of design, illustration, and Italian material culture for years. Giacon — artist, comic book artist, designer, and multifaceted figure in the contemporary creative scene — brings a pop sensibility to his work for Alessi without sacrificing depth: each piece is a small narrative, a fragment of collective iconography reinterpreted with irony and affection. At Stilmobili, we chose Ciro because it represents exactly what we love about design when it stops taking itself too seriously. It is the perfect gift for anyone who collects objects with a story to tell, for anyone looking for something authentic to place on a desk, bookshelf, or windowsill — and for anyone who can recognize, in a small gesture, the presence of a great idea. Project notes: Hand-decorated porcelain. Dimensions 5 × 5 × 5.2 cm. Part of Alessi's A collection, designed by LPWK / Massimo Giacon. Spring/summer assortment. Discontinued item — end of series.
