Alessi — Clivo PU10/6 | Patricia Urquiola fruit knife

There is something subtly sculptural about Clivo that goes beyond its function. The AISI 420 stainless steel fruit knife extends for 19.5 centimeters with proportions studied down to the millimeter: the sharp profile and the shape of the handle engage in formal continuity, transforming an everyday gesture - peeling, cutting, savoring - into a small aesthetic ritual. The steel, cool to the touch but warm in the light, reflects its surroundings with the discretion characteristic of well-designed objects. Patricia Urquiola, an architect and designer of Spanish origin who made Milan her home, signs the Clivo service with the distinctive stylistic signature that sets her apart on the international scene: the ability to combine material sensitivity and structural rigor without ever sacrificing grace. Her collaboration with Alessi is part of a tradition of dialogue between the Crusinallo manufacturer and leading contemporary designers, a partnership that has produced some of the most recognizable objects in Italian design culture. Clivo was created as a complete service, designed to bring coherence and personality to the table. At Stilmobili, we chose Clivo because it embodies exactly the vision of living that belongs to us: where quality is not flaunted but perceived, where form is not ornament but substance. It is the ideal service for those who consider the table a space for care, who entertain with attention to detail and know that a fruit knife can say a great deal about the person who chose it. Project notes: AISI 420 steel, length 19.5 cm. Part of the Clivo service designed by Patricia Urquiola for Alessi. Permanent collection, autumn/winter lineup.
