Alessi — & Coffee MDL02BSET | Pulcina coffee maker and cups set

There is a daily ritual that deserves to be celebrated with the same care with which one chooses an outfit or sets an important table: coffee. The Alessi & Coffee set brings together two design objects conceived to engage with each other around this ancient gesture - the cast-aluminum Pulcina coffee maker, with its compact body and almost animal-like silhouette, and the understated, geometric white porcelain PlateBowlCup cups, capable of holding an espresso as naturally as a shell holds its essence. La Pulcina - designed by Michele De Lucchi and Guido Venturini - owes its name to its slightly forward-leaning shape, like a chick ready to peck. But behind the silhouette's irony lies a refined technical solution: the inverted-triangle spout is designed to retain coffee grounds, delivering a clean, full-bodied espresso into the cup. The magnetic steel base makes it compatible with induction cooktops without sacrificing aesthetics. The PlateBowlCup cups, designed by Jasper Morrison, belong instead to the great tradition of British utilitarian design: pure, almost anonymous forms in the noblest sense of the term, which disappear in use to make room for the experience. We chose this set because it perfectly expresses what we at Stilmobili believe in: that beauty should not be separated from function, and that even the humblest everyday objects deserve the attention of great designers. It is the ideal gift for those who love coffee as a form of culture, and for those who furnish a kitchen with the same sensitivity they would bring to decorating a living room. Project notes: 3-cup espresso coffee maker, cast aluminum body, black polyamide handle and knob, induction-compatible. White porcelain cups with saucers. Total set weight: 1.47 kg.
