Alessi — Colombina Fish FM23/44 | 18/10 stainless steel oyster knife

There is something almost ritualistic about opening an oyster: an ancient, patient gesture that requires the right tool. The FM23/44 knife from Alessi's Colombina Fish collection meets this need with precision that is also elegance. The AISI 420 steel blade, robust and sharp enough, meets an 18/10 stainless steel handle with a soft, distinctive silhouette - that fluid, almost organic shape that is the visual signature of the entire Colombina Fish family. The collection stems from the vision of Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, among the most visionary Italian architects on the international scene, with the technical contribution of Alberto Gozzi. The project brings to the table the same creative tension that the Fuksases apply to architecture: lines that evoke movement, bodies that seem shaped by water. It is no coincidence that fish - and the sea, and everything the sea brings - is the symbolic center of this series. Colombina Fish is a tribute to the Adriatic table, to the Italian fishing tradition reinterpreted with contemporary rigor. We at Stilmobili chose this piece because it perfectly embodies the subtle boundary between a functional object and an authored object. It is ideal for those who love setting the table with care, for those who consider seafood cuisine a ritual to be celebrated through its tools as well. A refined gift for connoisseurs, a precious addition for those who thoughtfully assemble their tableware. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel for the body, AISI 420 blade. Dimensions 16 × 5.3 × 4.2 cm. Part of the Alessi Palinsesto collection, spring/summer season.
