Alessi — Colombina FM10/1 | White porcelain flat plate

There is something organic and almost natural in the shape of the Colombina flat plate: the edges curve with a grace that recalls the profile of a wing or the soft outline of a shell just emerged from the water. The white porcelain, in its absolute chromatic purity, enhances every subtle variation of light on the surface, transforming an everyday object into a small aesthetic gesture. Generous dimensions - 31 × 27.5 cm - that welcome every culinary composition with the dignity it deserves. Colombina was born from the vision of Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, partners in life and architecture, protagonists of some of the most visionary projects in contemporary international design. With this collection for Alessi, the Fuksases bring to the table the same sculptural sensibility that characterizes their architectural research: forms that seem generated by natural forces rather than constructed, volumes that interact with one another with instinctive fluidity. The result is a tableware line in which every piece - plate, cup, bowl - contributes to a coherent and recognizable story. At Stilmobili, we chose the Colombina collection because it embodies exactly that tension between function and beauty at the heart of our selection. It is the ideal tableware for those who want to set a table with something to say: those who host with care, those who regard a meal as a ritual rather than a routine, those who recognize in Italian design its highest form of everyday elegance. Design notes: white porcelain flat plate, dimensions 31 × 27.5 cm. Design by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas for Alessi, fall/winter collection. Code FM10/1.
