There is something organic and suspended about the Alessi Colombina Collection: white porcelain that seems to shape the air around it, with soft curves evoking flight, lightness, and a gesture suspended in time. The FM10/38 salad bowl belongs to this formal universe with both discretion and presence - a 31.7-centimeter opening, a generous capacity of 270 cl, and a pristine surface that captures the light of the table as naturally as it welcomes a seasonal salad or a fruit composition. Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, internationally renowned architects whose vision spans continents and scales - from major airport terminals to everyday objects - have translated their poetics of the shell, of the container as a thinking form, into this collection. Colombina was born from a reflection on biomorphism applied to the table: each piece in the series engages with the others in a coherent system, where the individual object is never isolated but part of a broader narrative. At Stilmobili, we chose the Colombina Collection because it represents exactly that boundary we are passionate about: where authored design meets everyday gestures. This salad bowl is intended for those who set the table with intention, for whom Sunday lunch or dinner with friends is an act of aesthetic as well as emotional care.
