Alessi — Colombina FM10/54 H | Tall white porcelain bowl

There is something organic and suspended about the Colombina Collection: the forms seem to have emerged from water, shaped by a gentle, unstoppable force. The tall FM10/54 H bowl is a small sculptural volume in white porcelain that graces the table with the same elegance as an object found on the seashore. The curves join seamlessly, without sharp edges; the pristine surface captures the light and returns it softly, almost diffusely. With a capacity of 36 cl, it is designed for spoon desserts, fruit salads, creams, and ice cream — yet it also works on the table as a purely decorative presence, without surprising anyone. Colombina was born from the vision of Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, among the most visionary contemporary architecture and design practices, with offices in Rome, Paris, and Shenzhen. Their work with Alessi brings the same poetic tension found throughout their architecture to the table: grand formal gestures translated into an intimate scale. The collection belongs to Alessi's fall/winter range and reflects the brand's vocation to transform the everyday ritual of a meal into a conscious aesthetic experience. We at Stilmobili chose it because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects that do more than simply function, but transform the landscape of the table. It is ideal for those who build their home with a consistent design vision, and for those who know that even a small dessert bowl can be an expression of style. It pairs naturally with the rest of the Colombina Collection, while also complementing more neutral, contemporary dinnerware with equal ease. Project notes: white porcelain, capacity 36 cl, dimensions 14.8 × 12.6 × h 6 cm, net weight 214 g. Designed by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas for Alessi.
