Alessi — Compressioni ITM27 | Turned 18/10 stainless steel cooler

There is something hypnotic about the way 18/10 stainless steel can convey a contradiction. Compressioni arises from an apparently brutal gesture - the crushing of a spun cylinder - yet produces an object of rare grace, poised between the perfection of its original form and the visible memory of a force that has passed through it. The result is an ice bucket whose surface reflects light unevenly, vibrantly, as if the metal still retained the energy of the moment when it was compressed. Paolo Ulian, one of Tuscany's most refined interpreters of the relationship between the production process and the final form, has created this series as part of the *Il Tornitore Matto* collection - one of the freest and most experimental projects Alessi has ever included in its catalog. The starting idea is to reveal the artisanal gesture as an aesthetic language: spinning is not merely a technique, but a narrative. Every deformation is intentional, calibrated, and carries the invisible signature of the hand that guided the process. At Stilmobili, we chose Compressioni because it embodies exactly what we look for in the pieces we offer: objects that go beyond utility and establish a dialogue with those who live with them. It is ideal for those who already appreciate authorial design and are looking for a centerpiece capable of carrying a conversation on its own - in a contemporary living room, on a carefully set table, or as a sculptural element in a minimalist space. Design notes: diameter 24 cm, height 23.2 cm. 18/10 stainless steel spun and compressed. Il Tornitore Matto Collection. Net weight 1.31 kg.
