There is something deliberately playful about the Daytimer: a wristwatch that chooses white polyurethane as its skin, giving up the coldness of metal in favor of a soft, almost tactile material that recalls certain childhood objects carefully cherished. The form is clean and essential, with a diameter of 4.70 cm that makes it discreet yet recognizable on the wrist. Here, white is not a neutral choice: it is an aesthetic statement, an assertion of formal purity in a landscape dominated by dark dials and polished cases.

The Daytimer was created through a collaboration between William Alsop and Federico Grazzini, a meeting of different sensibilities that converge in an object capable of bringing a certain idea of pop architecture to the wrist. Alsop - a British architect known for the bold use of color and compositional freedom of his buildings - brings to this project the same desire to subvert expectations, transforming an everyday accessory into a small manifesto of style. The result belongs to the spring/summer season of the Alessi collection, a period during which the Crusinallo Factory often made room for the most daring experiments.

We chose it for Stilmobili because it tells a story that resonates with us: that of design that does not take itself too seriously but is conceived with deep seriousness. It is the ideal watch for those who inhabit experimental spaces, for those familiar with Alsop's signature, or simply for anyone who wants to wear something that starts a conversation. Now discontinued, it has become a collector's piece for enthusiasts of Italian design from the 2000s.
