Alessi — DC06/1 B | Black aluminum moka pot for 1 cup

There is something deeply ritualistic about morning coffee, and this coffee maker knows it. The Alessi Moka DC06/1 B is made from cast aluminum, giving the historic form of the Italian moka pot a new, quiet gravity: the matte black finish absorbs the light, while the polyamide handle and knob complete an object that seems made to be held with awareness. One cup — no more, no less. A personal, everyday, inimitable gesture. David Chipperfield, one of the most respected British architects of his generation — winner of the 2023 Pritzker Prize — brings to the coffee maker the same philosophy that guides his buildings: rigor without coldness, subtraction without deprivation. The design is part of the fall-winter lineup of the Alessi collection and is a rarity in the world of kitchen design: a functional object that does not seek to amaze through formal excesses, but convinces through coherence. The profile is clean, almost architectural, with proportions designed for the single-serving version — 7 cl capacity, compact dimensions — making it an intimate companion rather than a serving utensil. We chose it for Stilmobili because it perfectly embodies that tension between auteur design and everyday use that we seek in every piece of our selection. It is ideal for those who live alone or want to give a gift with a story, for a minimalist apartment as well as a carefully designed kitchen. A moka pot that does not hide in the cupboard: it stays on the stove, on display. Project notes: black-painted cast aluminum, handle and knob in black polyamide. Capacity 7 cl — 1 cup. Dimensions 13.5 × 7 × 11 cm. Weight 380 g. Alessi production, Italy.
