Alessi — DC06/6 B | Chipperfield black espresso moka pot for 6 cups

There is something archetypal about the moka pot, an object that has inhabited Italian kitchens for generations with the same naturalness as rising water. Alessi's DC06 reinterprets this ancestral form through David Chipperfield's sensibility: cast aluminum in deep black, clean geometries stripped of ornament, a handle and knob in same-color polyamide, creating a monolithic, coherent silhouette. It feels as it should in the hand, offers a secure grip, and heats quickly. Black is not merely an aesthetic choice in itself - it is an act of rigor. David Chipperfield, an internationally renowned British architect known for major museum projects such as Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie and the Neues Museum, brings the same compositional discipline that characterizes his buildings to this design: subtraction, proportion, permanence. His work for Alessi belongs to the brand's long tradition of entrusting everyday objects to minds shaped by the grand scale, with results that transcend the category of "home accessory" to become statements of domestic poetics. We chose the DC06 because it conveys exactly what Stilmobili wants to bring into its customers' homes: objects for everyday use that do not ask to be displayed but, placed on the cooktop or counter, silently transform the tone of a room. It is the moka pot for those who have chosen a carefully considered kitchen, for those who see the morning coffee ritual as a moment of quality, not haste.
