Alessi — DC06/9 FM | 9-cup Chipperfield moka pot in aluminum

There is something primordial about the moka pot ritual, in the sound of steam rising, in the aroma spreading even before the coffee is ready. David Chipperfield's DC06 reinterprets this archetypal object with the geometric precision that distinguishes the work of the British architect: cast aluminum with crisp surfaces, a handle and knob in anthracite gray polyamide, an austere, contemporary color scheme that transforms an everyday tool into an object worthy of inhabiting any designer kitchen. Its magnetic steel base makes it compatible with induction cooktops, without compromising an aesthetic that allows no compromises. David Chipperfield, winner of the 2023 Pritzker Prize, is one of the most influential architects on the international scene, known for a formal rigor that knows how to become domestic warmth. His approach to product design for Alessi reflects the same philosophy as his buildings: no superfluous ornament, only form emerging from function, elevated into a poetic gesture. His collaboration with the Fabbrica dei sogni in Crusinallo represents a natural meeting between two visions that share a devotion to material quality and long-lasting durability. We chose this moka pot because it perfectly embodies what Stilmobili looks for in the products it offers: objects that do not age, resist passing trends, and add meaning to the spaces they inhabit. It is ideal for those who furnish consciously, who consider the kitchen a fully-fledged design environment, and who never separate aesthetic pleasure from sensory pleasure. Project notes: capacity for 9 cups (45 cl), dimensions 20.5 × 12 × 20.5 cm. An accessory filter for American coffee is included. Compatible with induction cooktops.
