Alessi — Delight NZ01 | Hand-decorated porcelain mug

There is something ancient yet contemporary about the Delight mug: the white porcelain that holds the warmth of coffee or tea, the hand-applied decoration that transforms an everyday gesture into a small ritual. With its generous proportions - almost 37 centiliters of capacity - and dimensions calibrated to sit comfortably between the fingers even on the coldest mornings, Delight is designed to be used, loved, and admired. The Christmas decoration that adorns it is not ornament for ornament's sake: it is a threshold, an invitation to slow down. Nika Zupanc, a Slovenian designer among the most refined voices on the European scene, brings her unmistakable signature to this project: the ability to imbue objects with poetic tension without ever giving in to gratuitous decoration. A longtime collaborator of Alessi, Zupanc sees Christmas not as a season of excess, but as an opportunity to rediscover the value of handcrafted detail. Each mug in the Delight collection is individually decorated, making it - in the most precise sense of the term - a unique piece. At Stilmobili, we chose Delight because it perfectly embodies what we believe in: beauty that does not ask to be protected, but lived. It is the ideal gift for those who love receiving thoughtfully designed objects, for those who set the holiday table with the same care they use when choosing an outfit. A gift that remains, season after season. Project notes: Hand-decorated porcelain. Capacity 37 cl. Dimensions 8.5 × 10.5 × h 14.5 cm. Net weight 510 g. Alessi production, fall/winter collection.
