Alessi — Delight NZ04 NZ04SET2 | Set of 2 blown glass Christmas ornaments

There is something ancient and precious in the gesture of hanging a blown-glass bauble on the Christmas tree. It is a ritual belonging to the collective European memory, to the craftsmanship of those who transform human breath into perfect form. Alessi’s Delight restores this familiar object to its full dignity: two blown-glass spheres measuring six centimetres in diameter, light as air bubbles, capable of capturing and reflecting the light of the festive season with a luminous quality that glass - and glass alone - can offer. The design bears the signature of Nika Zupanc, a Slovenian designer among the most original voices on today’s international scene. Her work always moves along the subtle boundary between seduction and rigor, between romantic reminiscence and conscious modernity. With Delight, part of the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection, Zupanc reinterprets the classic Christmas ornament without distorting its essence: the shape is archetypal, the perfect sphere, but the quality of the blown glass and the attention to detail reveal a precise yet warmly expressive design approach. At Stilmobili, we chose Delight because we believe Christmas deserves objects conceived with the same care we devote to everyday furnishings. They are ideal for those who want to create a Christmas tree that reflects a refined aesthetic, far from mass-produced decorations, or for anyone looking for a sophisticated, affordably priced gift to accompany a main present. Two baubles, one package, a gesture of style. Project notes: blown glass, diameter 6 cm, net weight 115 g. Designer Nika Zupanc for Alessi. Palinsesto fall/winter collection.
