Alessi — Delight NZ04 NZ04SET4 | Blown glass Christmas ornaments

There is a moment, while decorating the Christmas tree, when a single decoration can stop time. Alessi's Delight is designed precisely for that: two blown-glass spheres six centimetres in diameter, light as air bubbles and rich with reflected light. Blown glass carries the imprint of the human gesture - each piece is unique in its near-perfection - and gives the Christmas ornament a tactile and visual quality that industrial materials cannot match. Delight was designed by Nika Zupanc, a Slovenian designer among the most original voices in the contemporary European design scene. Her work gracefully balances the poetry of the domestic object with an almost cinematic sensitivity to form. With Delight, Zupanc distills the very essence of decoration: no excess, no concessions to kitsch, just the geometric purity of the sphere and the inherent magic of glass when it meets the light of a candle or garland. At Stilmobili, we chose Delight because it embodies a vision of Christmas that we share: refined without being cold, essential without being austere. It is the right decoration for those who care for every detail of their home throughout the year and do not want to give up that same aesthetic consistency during the holidays. Perfect as a design gift for anyone who can recognize the difference between an ornament and a designer piece. Project notes: set of two blown-glass spheres, 6 cm diameter, 100 g net weight. Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection. Designed by Nika Zupanc.
