Alessi — Delight NZ07 | Hand-decorated porcelain candle holder

There is something ancient and contemporary at the same time in the ritual of lighting a candle during the holidays. Delight celebrates it with the quiet grace of white porcelain, molded into a form that evokes the warmth of a rediscovered tradition. Each piece bears visible signs of the human hand - the nuances of the hand-applied decoration, the subtle variations that make each example unique. Compact in size (10 × 10 × 9 cm), it fits discreetly yet distinctively on any surface. Delight stems from the sensibility of Nika Zupanc, a Slovenian designer among the most original voices on the international design scene. Zupanc often works on the boundary between functional object and domestic sculpture, creating pieces that speak of femininity, desire and material poetry. Her collaboration with Alessi naturally fits into this vision: a meeting between the artisanal rigor of Italian manufacturing and a design perspective capable of transforming the everyday into a small enchantment. At Stilmobili, we chose Delight because it reflects a precise idea of a gift - or of something to buy for yourself. It is not a Christmas decoration in the conventional sense of the term: it is an object that outlives the holidays, finding its purpose at any time of year when you want to create an atmosphere. It is ideal for those who love design as an emotional language, and for those looking for something under the tree that will last longer than a season.
