Alessi — Discolo ITM03 GR | Green anodized aluminum centerpiece

There is something magnetic about Discolo's deep green: a broad disc, almost austere in its geometric silence, yet capable of enlivening the table with a rare chromatic presence. The generous anodized aluminum rim embraces the space with restraint and authority - 34 centimeters in diameter, enough to hold seasonal fruit, candles, and everyday objects elevated to the status of a composition. The treated surface offers a velvety sheen, cool to the touch like a shadowed stone. Discolo was created by Federico Angi as part of *Il Tornitore Matto*, one of Alessi's collections most faithful to the idea of craftsmanship as a poetic gesture. The collection's title evokes the artisan who returns to the lathe with a free, almost mischievous spirit - and Discolo indeed carries that paradoxical lightness within it: it is a serious object in form, yet impertinent in color, choosing to sit on the table without too much explanation. At Stilmobili, we chose Discolo because it does what great design objects do best: alter the perception of a space without making a sound. It is ideal for those who furnish with intention, for whom the table is a place of aesthetic care as well as conviviality. The anodized green complements marble, natural wood, and artisanal ceramic surfaces - and with equal elegance, it holds its own on a study desk or a minimalist kitchen counter.
