Alessi — Do, Re, Mi AGJ01 15 | Porcelain Christmas figurine dipint

There is something musical, in the most literal sense, about encountering Do, Re, Mi for the first time: three notes that become form, volume, and presence. The porcelain figurine presents itself to the eye with the grace of an object belonging to the nativity scene tradition, reinterpreted through the lens of cultivated irony. Its compact proportions - eleven centimeters wide and almost twelve centimeters high - give it surprising visual density, as if the entire weight of the festive season were condensed into a precise and affectionate ceramic gesture. The hand decoration ensures that each piece is, to some extent, unique: small variations that make the object more like a handcrafted work than a mass-produced accessory. Behind Do, Re, Mi are Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori, two figures who have traversed decades of Italian visual culture - from illustration to painting, from auteur comics to design - always bringing with them a certain ability to play with popular iconography without ever slipping into banality. Their partnership with Alessi forms part of the long tradition of the Crusinallo brand entrusting its Christmas narrative to artists capable of transforming the occasion into a layered and personal visual story. We at Stilmobili chose Do, Re, Mi because it achieves the rare feat of being both a Christmas decoration and a collectible object. It is the right gift for those who love design with a surreal streak, for those who want to create a festive corner that says something about them, and for those who are not satisfied with convention, even in December. Project notes: hand-decorated porcelain, dimensions 11 × 12 × 9.5 cm. Part of the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection. Designed by Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori.
