Alessi — Doraff UNS07 R | Red Children's Seat

Doraff - The seat that grows with children's imagination

There is something tender yet daring about the way an object designed for little ones can tell a big story. Doraff was born from a direct perspective: that of a parent watching their children gain new independence, day after day. The bright red is not just a color: it is energy, an invitation, a presence. A form that asserts itself in the space with playful lightness, never seeming out of place.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi - an applied arts workshop founded in 1921 on Lake Orta - has spent decades building a dialogue between industry and cultural design. Doraff was created in collaboration with Ben van Berkel of UNStudio, a Dutch designer working for the first time on a collection dedicated to children. The result is a multifunctional seat belonging to the "Giro Kids" line: a system designed to accompany children's first independent meals, with the same design care that Alessi devotes to objects for adults. Not a scaled-down substitute, but a fully fledged piece of design.
