Alessi — Double DUL02/25 | Double-wall 18/10 stainless steel bowl

There is something hypnotic about Double's circular perfection: a bowl that splits, reflects, and multiplies within a minimal space. The double wall in 18/10 stainless steel is not merely a technical choice - it is a formal gesture that transforms an everyday object into a small table architecture. The upper rim opens discreetly, while the outer wall creates a subtle, almost imperceptible visual offset that catches the light and generates depth. Twenty-five centimeters in diameter, seven in height: proportions calibrated with the sobriety that distinguishes authentic design from ornament. Double is designed by Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi, a Milanese duo whose story spans half a century of Italian design. Trained at the Politecnico di Milano, D'Urbino and Lomazzi are known for an approach that combines design rigor with material sensitivity - qualities that are expressed with particular elegance in this piece. Their collaboration with Alessi is part of the tradition of the "Factory of Dreams" in Crusinallo, which has transformed design culture into domestic objects of extraordinary civility. At Stilmobili, we chose Double because it embodies a precise philosophy: that of an object that does not shout its presence but suggests it. It is the ideal bowl for those who love setting the table with intention, for those who seek in a centerpiece not a scenic protagonist but an element of visual coherence. Perfect for fruit, bread, or simply as a sculptural presence on a characterful sideboard or kitchen counter.
