"Dressed en plein air" embodies the idea of a celebration: a meadow, a blanket spread over the grass, light filtering through the leaves, and a table set with the same care reserved for grand occasions. The wicker basket - warm, artisanal, rooted in a collective memory of outings and Sundays in the countryside - contains a complete service for four: dinner and soup plates, full cutlery, glasses, and teaspoons. Everything is made of melamine and PCTG thermoplastic resin, materials that convey the weight and presence of genuine porcelain, yet withstand the sun, children, and nature's unpredictability without fear. The design bears the signature of Marcel Wanders, one of the most visionary Dutch designers of his generation, always able to reconcile poetic storytelling with everyday function. Wanders conceived "Dressed" as an extended family - a collection created for Alessi that spans the table in all its variations, from indoors to outdoors, from formal to informal, without ever losing its decorative identity. "Dressed en plein air" is his response to the outdoors: elegant enough to never feel out of place, light enough to be truly carried anywhere. We chose it for Stilmobili because it represents something rare in the contemporary design landscape: an object that does not choose between beauty and use, between form and real life. It is the ideal gift for those who love entertaining even away from home, for families who do not want to give up aesthetics even on holiday, and for those who consider a picnic a ritual rather than a fallback.
