Alessi — Dressed MW03/10 | Stainless steel ladle with decoration

There is something unexpected about lifting this ladle: your hand encounters an object that does more than simply serve - it tells a story. The 18/10 stainless steel surface - cool, gleaming, almost mirror-like - is interrupted by a raised decoration that transforms a kitchen utensil into an object to contemplate. Holding it is enough to understand the intention: even the most everyday gesture, serving soup or ragù, deserves a certain grace. Dressed was created by Marcel Wanders, one of the most visionary Dutch designers of his generation, able to move effortlessly between irony and preciousness, between the codes of luxury and everyday culture. The Dressed collection for Alessi brings the idea of an imaginary formal dinner service to the table: each piece seems to have come from a family sideboard, yet it is thoroughly modern. The raised decoration running along the handle and appearing on the surface evokes embroidery and lace - fabrics, not metals - as if Wanders wanted to dress the steel in an evening gown. At Stilmobili, we chose Dressed because it embodies the tension we seek in every piece in our selection: the ability to be fully functional while also transforming the perception of the space it occupies. It is the ideal gift for those who see the table as an extension of their personal style, who do not separate beauty from usefulness and consider serving at the table an almost ceremonial act. Design notes: Length 29 cm. 18/10 stainless steel. Weight 440 g. Dressed Collection, Alessi. Design by Marcel Wanders.
