Alessi — Dressed MW200/24 | Marcel Wanders 24 cm lid

There is something unexpected about looking at this lid: the polished 18/10 stainless steel surface does not merely reflect the kitchen light, but captures and transforms it through a raised decoration that evokes lace, embroidery, and the tactile memory of a festive tablecloth. Metal - cold by nature - becomes something alive here, almost textile. An object that belongs to both the stove and the table with equal dignity. Marcel Wanders designed this collection with the poetic consistency that has always distinguished his work: one of the most recognizable Dutch designers of his generation, Wanders has built a career on the oxymoron between the decorative and the functional, between artisanal tradition and industrial production. With Dressed - the name itself is a manifesto - he transforms cookware into an act of style, dressing each piece as one would dress an important table. The project was born from his collaboration with Alessi, the quintessential Italian design workshop, and over time has become one of the most recognizable chapters in their catalog. At Stilmobili, we chose Dressed because it perfectly embodies the philosophy guiding our selection: objects that do not hide, that do not ask to be put away. This 24 cm lid is designed for those who consider the kitchen an extension of their taste, for those who do not separate preparation from conviviality. A gift of rare elegance, or a thoughtful addition to an already established collection. Project notes: Diameter 24 cm. Polished 18/10 stainless steel with raised decoration. Net weight 505 g. Part of the Dressed collection for Alessi, currently being discontinued.
