Alessi — Dressed MW21/100 | Airtight glass and steel jar

There is something unexpectedly poetic about the everyday act of preserving. The Dressed jar transforms this elementary action into a small domestic ritual: the transparent glass preserves and displays, while the 18/10 stainless steel lid crowns it with a raised decoration that recalls the embroidery of a precious fabric. The airtight seal guarantees perfect closure, but it is the surface of the lid - tactile, ornamental, almost sartorial - that reveals something deeper about the nature of this object. Dressed is one of Marcel Wanders' creations for Alessi, by the Dutch designer, one of the most recognizable of his generation, who moves effortlessly between Baroque ornamentation and contemporary simplicity. Wanders has always treated objects as narratives: every surface is a text, every detail a quotation. With Dressed, he brings his unmistakable sense of décor into the kitchen, transforming a pantry container into a piece to be displayed. At Stilmobili, we chose Dressed because it embodies a vision of living that is close to our hearts: one in which function never excludes beauty, and in which even a jar can become a statement of a conscious lifestyle. It is the ideal gift for those who love the kitchen as a space for care and expression, as well as for anyone looking for a furnishing accessory capable of interacting with refined interiors without seeming out of place. Project notes: capacity 100 cl, diameter 10.5 cm, height 15.8 cm. Glass body, 18/10 stainless steel lid with raised decoration. Alessi Palinsesto spring/summer collection.
