Alessi — Edo PU100/20 | Urquiola stainless steel pot

There is something profoundly Mediterranean in the way Edo inhabits the cooktop. The 18/10 stainless steel pot has a clean, almost sculptural silhouette, where the metallic perfection of polished steel converses with the handles finished in warm brown PVD — an unexpected color detail that is all the more alluring for that reason. That earthy, warm, tactile tone transforms a functional object into something that wants to be seen, even away from the stove. Edo was created by Patricia Urquiola, a Spanish designer by adoption of Milan and one of the most authoritative voices in contemporary international design. Urquiola brings her distinctive signature to Alessi: the ability to merge formal rigor with tactile sensitivity, to find in a detail — a color, a curve, a texture — the place where a project ceases to be industry and becomes a story. With Edo, the kitchen becomes the stage for a more mindful everyday life. We chose Edo for those who do not separate caring for the table from caring for the gestures that come before it. It is the ideal pot for those who recognize cooking as an act of culture, not merely nourishment. The magnetic steel base ensures full compatibility with induction cooktops, without sacrificing versatility on every type of stove. A choice that we at Stilmobili feel is consistent with our vision: beauty must know how to work. Project notes: capacity 4.9 liters, diameter 28.5 cm, height 19 cm. 18/10 stainless steel with a magnetic base suitable for induction. Steel handles with a brown PVD finish. Designer: Patricia Urquiola for Alessi, autumn/winter collection.
