Alessi — Edo PU100/24 | Urquiola stainless steel pot

There is something deeply contemporary about the way Edo occupies the cooktop. The 18/10 stainless steel pot has a clean, authoritative silhouette, where the lustrous material dialogues with the handles coated in brown PVD — an unexpected, warm, almost earthy color choice that elegantly breaks up the coldness of the metal. The result is an object that does not hide, but rather asserts its presence in the kitchen as a piece of design would in a living room. Edo is a creation by Patricia Urquiola for Alessi, a Spanish designer trained in Milan who has made the cross-pollination of disciplines — architecture, fashion, and industrial design — her distinctive hallmark. In this collection, Urquiola brings the same tactile and chromatic sensitivity that characterizes her projects for the biggest names in international design: every detail is chosen to evoke a sensation before fulfilling a function. The magnetic steel base ensures compatibility with all cooktops, including induction, without compromising the overall aesthetic. At Stilmobili, we chose Edo because it perfectly embodies that borderland between kitchen and design that has always been part of who we are. It is the ideal gift for those who consider food preparation both a creative and a domestic act, and for those who want every object in their home — even the most functional one — to tell a story about them. Project notes: 8.5-liter capacity, dimensions 33 × 24 × 22 cm. 18/10 stainless steel, handles with a brown PVD finish, magnetic base compatible with induction. Designed by Patricia Urquiola for Alessi.
