Alessi — Edo PU101/20 | 18/10 stainless steel saucepan by Urquiola

There is something profoundly meditative about the shape of the Edo saucepan: clean lines, balanced proportions, a presence on the heat that does not demand attention but receives it nonetheless. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, its surface reflects the kitchen light with the quiet sobriety that distinguishes objects that are truly considered from those that are simply manufactured. The handles, also made of 18/10 stainless steel, are coated in brown PVD — a warm, earthy color choice that elegantly breaks up the coldness of the metal and introduces a touch of domestic intimacy. Edo is the result of Patricia Urquiola's work, a Spanish designer trained in Milan and one of the most authoritative and recognizable voices in the international contemporary design scene. In this project, Urquiola brings her usual stylistic signature: a rare ability to blend formal rigor with material sensitivity, turning everyday life into a field of research. The collection takes its name from the Japanese city — now Tokyo — evoking an aesthetic of simplicity and care in every gesture, where even cooking becomes a mindful ritual. At Stilmobili, we chose Edo because it perfectly embodies that boundary between kitchen and design that is part of who we are: an object that works — thanks to its induction-compatible magnetic steel base — but never stops being beautiful. It is the saucepan for those who consider the kitchen a space for expression, not merely function. Perfect for a designer kitchen and for those who furnish every detail of their home with intention. Project notes: 2.8-liter capacity, dimensions 28.5 × 20 × 12 cm, induction base. A piece conceived to last, aesthetically and materially.
