Alessi — Edo PU200/14 | 14 cm Urquiola stainless steel lid

A circle of polished steel, a knob that catches the light with its tobacco-colored PVD finish. Patricia Urquiola's Edo lid is a minimal yet deliberate gesture: the geometric perfection of 18/10 stainless steel meets a note of material warmth, that burnished brown that transforms a functional accessory into a small object to contemplate. Even when it is resting on the heat, even when it is not in use, Edo has something to say. The Edo collection was born from the vision of Patricia Urquiola, a Spanish designer trained in Milan who has been working with the great names of Italian design for decades, bringing a rare sensitivity: that of someone who knows how to read the body in space and the gesture in an object. For Alessi, Urquiola created a line of cookware that does not sacrifice formal poetry, even in the most technical details. The PVD knob - a surface treatment that ensures durability and resistance to wear - becomes a chromatic signature, an identifying element of a system designed coherently from the outside in. At Stilmobili, we chose Edo because it represents exactly what we look for: objects that inhabit the kitchen with the same dignity with which a painting inhabits a living room. It is the ideal piece for those who have already invested in a distinctive kitchen and want every element, even the most everyday one, to be worthy of its surroundings. A gift of assured good taste, and a finishing touch for those who already own other pieces from the collection. Project notes: lid compatible with the 14 cm Edo pot, 18/10 stainless steel, knob with brown PVD finish, diameter 14 cm, height 3.5 cm, weight 295 g. End-of-line item: limited availability.
