Alessi — ES16/75 ES16/75 1 | Sottsass airtight glass and beechwood jar

There is something deeply domestic yet radically contemporary about this airtight jar designed by Ettore Sottsass. The transparent glass body - capacious and generous in its 75 cl volume - closes with a lacquered beech wood lid in the master's unmistakable colors: yellow, black, and white. A chromatic trio that does not merely decorate, but makes a statement. Every time it is opened or placed back on a shelf, the everyday gesture is imbued with a small dose of conscious beauty. Ettore Sottsass, founder of the Memphis movement and one of the most visionary figures in twentieth-century Italian design, always believed that everyday objects carried an anthropological, almost ritual energy. This jar belongs to the ES16 line, an integral part of the Alessi 100 Values Collection - an editorial project bringing together iconic pieces from the collaborative history between Alessi and the greatest names in global design. A living archive that does not celebrate the past, but puts it back into circulation. We chose it for Stilmobili because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects that inhabit the kitchen or living area without disappearing into the background noise, yet without imposing themselves ostentatiously. It is the perfect gift for those who collect design intelligently, or for anyone who wants to turn even the pantry into a thoughtfully curated space. Ideal for those who love Sottsass, Memphis, or simply color as a design statement. Project notes: glass body, lid in lacquered beech wood. Capacity 75 cl, diameter 12 cm, height 17 cm. Net weight 580 g. Alessi 100 Values Collection, spring/summer program.
