Alessi — Blow Up | Design Centerpiece Bowl

Alessi "Blow Up" — The Table as an Installation

Placing it at the center of the table is already an aesthetic gesture. The Blow Up centerpiece by the Campana Brothers transforms any surface into a small abstract landscape: the steel rods intertwine and spread apart in an apparently casual balance, playing with light and emptiness as much as with material. Its appearance changes depending on the time of day.

Why we chose it for you

Fernando and Humberto Campana are among the most original voices in contemporary design: their poetic and constructive approach — built on elevated humble materials and structures assembled almost through accumulation — found in Alessi a partner capable of translating that vision into industrially produced objects without losing its soul. Blow Up was born from this collaboration: a piece that belongs on the table but speaks the language of sculpture. Founded in 1921 on the shores of Lake Orta, Alessi has been, for over a century, the place where design meets metal craftsmanship.

Ideal for

A gift for those who inhabit space with an awareness of aesthetics. A centerpiece for anyone who is not looking for a conventional flower vase but wants the table to tell a story even when it is empty. A purchase to make for yourself, to transform an ordinary lunch into something more carefully considered.
