Alessi — Fior d'olio MSA32/TAP | Stainless steel pourer cap

There is an ancient, everyday gesture in pouring oil - a gesture that deserves the right form. Fior d'olio is a pourer stopper made of polished 18/10 stainless steel and thermoplastic resin, designed to transform a simple oil bottle into an object worthy of the table. Its compact dimensions - just over seven centimeters in height - conceal refined functional precision: controlled flow, no dripping, and a clean pour. The polished surface reflects light like a wet petal, discreetly evoking the name it bears. Fior d'olio comes from the creative vision of Marta Sansoni, an Italian designer who works within the design tradition that Alessi has always known how to cultivate: everyday objects elevated into small domestic sculptures. Sansoni brings to the project a sensitivity to organic forms and an attention to detail that can be perceived even - and above all - when the object is used, not only when it is viewed. The Alessi Palinsesto collection, in its spring/summer cycle, welcomes this piece naturally, as one welcomes something that seemed to have already existed. We chose it for Stilmobili because it perfectly represents what we believe in: design that inhabits everyday life without imposing itself, but makes every detail of the home more intentional. It is the perfect gift for those who love to cook with elegance, those who take care of the table down to the smallest details, and those who know that even a stopper can be a statement of style.
