Alessi — Food à Porter SA02 R | Red resin lunch box

There is something unmistakably optimistic about the red Sakura Adachi chose for Food à Porter: a color that does not hide, that asserts its presence on the office table, in the bag, on the kitchen counter. The thermoplastic resin lunch box is divided into three separate compartments, designed to keep the different elements of a complete meal separate - and in their place. The shape is compact, the proportions balanced: 19 × 13.5 × 10 cm that fit into everyday life without taking up unnecessary space. Sakura Adachi brings to the project a distinctly Japanese sensitivity for organizing food - bento culture elevated into a language of European design. The result is an object that speaks to both traditions: Japanese functional precision and the formal irony that has always distinguished the Alessi catalog. Food à Porter joins the Alessi collection with the naturalness of someone who already knows they belong to that world. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it expresses a vision of eating lunch away from home that refuses to settle for an anonymous container. It is ideal for those who work in the city and do not want to give up the pleasure of a carefully prepared meal, for those who take their children to school with something beautiful in their hands, or simply for anyone who believes that everyday objects also deserve a noteworthy form. Project notes: red thermoplastic resin, three compartments, total capacity 125 cl. Dimensions 19 × 10 × 13.5 cm. Alessi collection, fall/winter season. Design by Sakura Adachi.
