Alessi — Fractal ESA06 4 | Blown glass Christmas bauble

There is something hypnotic about Fractal's geometry: a sphere of mouth-blown glass that holds light as if it were liquid, hand-decorated with a precision reminiscent of nature's crystals — those that form slowly, following invisible laws of symmetry and repetition. Hung from a branch, it captures the reflection of candles and returns it multiplied, fragmented, and surprising. Eight centimeters of pure artisanal wonder. Fractal springs from the vision of Elena Salmistraro, a Milanese designer and artist among the most original voices in the contemporary Italian scene. Known for an imagination that merges the natural world with the dreamlike and geometric, Salmistraro brings the same visionary quality that characterizes all her work to this Christmas decoration: forms that seem to be generated by an algorithm but speak with the warmth of something made by hand, carefully, piece by piece. Part of the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection, Fractal is where the tradition of artistic glass meets contemporary sensibility. At Stilmobili, we chose Fractal because we believe that even a Christmas decoration can be a work of art — something to keep and rediscover each year with the same pleasure. It is designed for those who decorate the tree with the same care they use when choosing a work of art, for those who want Christmas to have a coherent, refined aesthetic without giving up its poetry. Design notes: mouth-blown glass, hand-finished decoration, diameter 8.5 cm, weight 124 g. Alessi code ESA06 4. Each piece is unique due to the nature of the artisanal production process.
