Alessi — K-Block | Bamboo Knife Block

K-Block - The block that opens the kitchen gesture

There is something ritualistic about putting a knife back in its place. Alessi's K-Block transforms this everyday gesture into a moment of order and beauty: the warm, compact bamboo welcomes the blades with the same care used to preserve what matters. The book-style opening is a detail that surprises - simple, almost obvious, yet thoughtfully designed.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on Lake Orta as an artisan workshop and has evolved over time into one of the world's most recognizable applied design studios. The K-Block, designed by Anna and Gian Franco Gasparini, embodies the ability to turn household objects into small architectures of everyday life. We chose it because it does more than hold knives: it displays them, protects them, and makes them part of the kitchen landscape.
