Alessi — Holyhedrics ESA09 2 | Elena Salmistraro porcelain mug

There is something magnetic about the Holyhedrics mug: a white porcelain surface animated by sacred geometries and fantastic figures, as if a parallel universe had chosen to inhabit the ceramic. With its nine-centimeter diameter and twelve-centimeter height, the mug holds up to forty centiliters of hot liquid, but its true measure is that of the imagination - dense, layered, inexhaustible. The design is by Elena Salmistraro, a Milanese designer and artist and one of the most original voices in the contemporary Italian scene. Her visual language draws on a symbolic repertoire that blends esotericism, nature, and architecture into forms that seem to come from a medieval bestiary reinterpreted through the sensibility of the 21st century. Holyhedrics is precisely this: Platonic solids that become creatures, polyhedra that breathe, decorations that tell stories before they are even seen. Created for the Alessi Christmas collection - as part of the fall/winter lineup - the mug belongs to the AlessiPalinsesto series, now discontinued, making it a limited-edition piece. At Stilmobili, we chose Holyhedrics because it embodies what we look for when selecting an object for the home: the ability to transform an everyday gesture into a moment of conscious beauty. It is the ideal mug for those who want their morning breakfast to receive the same aesthetic care as the rest of their home, and for those who wish to offer a Christmas gift far removed from the banality of the familiar. Design notes: decorated porcelain, capacity 40 cl, diameter 9 cm, height 12 cm. Discontinued: limited availability while stocks last.
