There is something still and serene in the white of porcelain when it meets Samiro Yunoki's graphic mark. The Itsumo dessert plate - "always" in Japanese - brings a visual calmness to the table without sacrificing presence: the decoration spreads across the surface like a restrained, essential calligraphic gesture, capable of transforming every end of a meal into a small aesthetic ritual. Its twenty-one-centimeter diameter offers the right proportion, neither excessive nor undersized, for serving desserts, fruit, or small pastry creations with the dignity they deserve. Behind this plate are two design sensibilities that rarely come so close together. Naoto Fukasawa - a Japanese master of design who has combined minimalism and emotional depth over decades of collaborations with the world's most demanding brands - created the shape. The decoration, on the other hand, is the work of Samiro Yunoki, a Japanese textile artist and illustrator born in 1922, a pivotal figure in postwar Japanese visual culture, whose graphic work intertwines folk tradition and modernity with a lightness that never seems to age. The Itsumo collection is the natural result of this encounter: two languages of contemporary Japan that recognize and complement each other.
