Alessi — Itsumo NF08/78S | Yunoki porcelain teacup

There is something suspended in time about the Itsumo cup. The white porcelain has the quiet luminosity of a Japanese winter morning, and Samiro Yunoki's decoration - one of the most refined textile artists and graphic designers in the contemporary Japanese tradition - inhabits it like a held breath: gentle, recurring marks capable of transforming an everyday gesture into a small ritual. The saucer completes the composition with natural balance, as if cup and saucer had always known they belonged together. Itsumo was born from the meeting of two deeply Japanese sensibilities: that of Naoto Fukasawa, a Milan-based designer by adoption and master of a minimalism that does not forgo sensory refinement, and that of Samiro Yunoki, born in 1922, whose graphic work intertwines folklore, abstraction, and a restrained, never banal chromatic joy. The design is part of Alessi's Palinsesto Spring/Summer collection, conceived to bring the lightness of bright seasons to the table through collaborations with authors of rare poetic coherence. We chose it for Stilmobili because Itsumo - which simply means "always" in Japanese - is exactly the kind of object that resists obsolescence: not because it is neutral, but because it is authentic. It is the right teacup for those who build their home around objects with a story to tell, for those who find in teatime an opportunity for beauty rather than a simple pause. Equally suited to a thoughtfully set table or a solitary shelf, where it is enough on its own. Design notes: capacity 24 cl, diameter 16 cm. White porcelain with Samiro Yunoki decoration. Net weight 480 g. Designed by Naoto Fukasawa for Alessi.
