Alessi — JM17/24 JM17/24 BT | Black round basket Jasper Morrison

A perfect disc, black as ink, resting on the table with the quiet presence of an object designed to last. Jasper Morrison's JM17/24 round basket is made of stainless steel coated with black epoxy resin, a finish that creates a dense, almost tactile surface, enriched by a subtle raised decoration that runs across the structure like a geometric echo. Twenty-four centimeters in diameter - a carefully calibrated size, neither too discreet nor intrusive - capable of holding bread, fruit, everyday objects, or simply occupying the center of a table with quiet authority. Jasper Morrison is among the most rigorous and influential designers of his generation. British, trained between London and Berlin, he has gradually developed a design vocabulary rooted in radical simplicity and deep attention to the user experience. His collaboration with Alessi has produced objects that reject ostentatious gestures in favor of a discreet yet unmistakable presence. The JM17 belongs to this tradition: a piece that does not announce itself, but is always noticed. We chose it because it precisely represents what Stilmobili seeks: objects in which design is not ornament but substance. It is ideal for those who furnish with a contemporary, minimalist sensibility, for those who love dark surfaces and industrial materials refined to an almost poetic simplicity. Perfect as a distinctive gift or as a personal purchase for a home that needs no explanation. Project notes: stainless steel with a black epoxy resin finish, raised decoration, diameter 24 cm, height 6 cm. Designer Jasper Morrison for Alessi. Permanent collection, autumn/winter selection.
