Why we chose it for you

Kuno Prey designed it in 1997 for Alessi's Twergi collection, launched in 1989 to revive the ancient tradition of woodturning in the valleys of Verbano. This object reflects its creator's ethical and ecological approach: every element has a precise purpose, and nothing is added merely to seduce at first sight. It is part of the All Time Favourites line through which Alessi — a research laboratory in the applied arts since 1921 — brings together pieces that stand the test of time because they do not chase fashion.
