Alessi — La Conica 90002 100 | Aldo Rossi Centenary Edition coffee maker

There is something architectural about the way La Conica occupies space. The 18/10 stainless steel body rises through pure geometries - the cone, the sphere, and the cylinder - as if a small rationalist structure had descended from the drawing board to rest on the stove. The visible, deliberate copper base is not a technical detail but a compositional element: warm in color, precise in function, and honest in form. The long handle and knob, in blue thermoplastic resin, introduce an unexpected note of color - a winter sky, a reference to the ceramics of the South - which gracefully breaks up the ensemble's metallic rigor. Aldo Rossi designed La Conica in 1984, bringing to the world of household objects the same vision that animated his architecture: the memory of elementary forms and their ability to evoke places and times without succumbing to nostalgia. The coffee maker immediately became a manifesto - not only of Italian design, but of how an everyday object can also be constructed thought. This version bears code 90002 100 and belongs to the *Alessi 100 Values* collection, a special edition produced in 2021 to celebrate the centenary of the Crusinallo factory: one hundred years of design, craftsmanship, and vision. We at Stilmobili wanted it because it represents exactly what we look for: objects that stand the test of time not because they remain unchanged, but because they are profound. It is the ideal gift for those who appreciate design thoughtfully, for the collector who still uses what they preserve, and for anyone who wants the morning coffee ritual to have the dignity of a considered gesture. *Project notes:* Capacity: 3 cups (15 cl). 18/10 stainless steel, copper base, blue thermoplastic resin handle and knob.
