Alessi — La Stanza dello Scirocco MT02 W | White Trimarchi fruit bowl

There is something both organic and rigorous about the form of *La Stanza dello Scirocco*: a white-lacquered steel fruit bowl with an epoxy resin finish that seems to have emerged from the meeting of wind and matter. Its treated surfaces convey a dense, almost tactile whiteness that is never sterile - rather, it evokes limestone smoothed by the sea, handcrafted ceramic, and the limewashed walls of a Mediterranean courtyard. With its 27-centimeter diameter and 13-centimeter profile, it occupies the table with understated authority, capable of holding fruit or objects without ever ceasing to be, first and foremost, a sculpture. Mario Trimarchi is one of the most thoughtful designers on the contemporary Italian scene: Sicilian by background and imagination, he brings to every project a sensibility that blends visual anthropology with the poetry of everyday life. *La Stanza dello Scirocco* takes its name from the subterranean space typical of Sicilian aristocratic residences - an underground room where people would retreat during days of hot winds, a place of suspension and coolness. That name is not decorative: it is a manifesto. The project belongs to the Alessi collection and is rooted in the tradition of the Crusinallo company, which entrusts designers with transforming everyday objects into stories. At Stilmobili, we chose *La Stanza dello Scirocco* because it precisely embodies our view of furnishings: objects that inhabit time as well as space, suited to those who want every element in the home to carry a story with it. It is the ideal centerpiece for a designer kitchen or a minimalist living space, and perfect as a gift for anyone who has cultivated taste. *Project notes.* Steel with a white epoxy resin finish.
