Alessi — Little Paradise AMGI33 | Giacon porcelain Christmas figurine

There is something ancient and surreal at once about Little Paradise: a porcelain figurine that carries the memory of the traditional nativity scene, reinterpreted through a contemporary and deliberately disorienting perspective. The white porcelain surface becomes a canvas for hand decoration that transforms each piece into an unrepeatable one-of-a-kind object, where color is gesture, the stroke is a signature, and the volume - fourteen centimeters high with a surprisingly striking presence - occupies the space with the grace of an object that knows it is being watched. Little Paradise was created through a collaboration between Alessi and Massimo Giacon, an eclectic figure in Italian design whose background combines comics, pop art, and underground visual culture. Giacon is one of those rare designers capable of inhabiting the boundary between the ironic and the poetic without slipping into either direction: his objects smile, but they do not laugh. They are part of Alessi's A Collection, a universe in which the Crusinallo-based brand has chosen to explore the realm of home decoration with the same intellectual seriousness reserved for functional objects. We at Stilmobili chose it because it is an object that transcends seasonality while being unmistakably Christmas-themed. It belongs to that rare category of decorations that one is reluctant to put away in the cellar: anyone with a developed sense of taste, an interest in auteur design, and a home where every detail tells a story will find in Little Paradise a seasonal companion capable of becoming a permanent presence. *Design notes:* Hand-decorated porcelain.
