Alessi — Magic Bunny | Giovannoni Design Toothpick Holder

Alessi Magic Bunny — The Rabbit That Lightens the Moment

There’s something disarming about pulling a toothpick out of a yellow rabbit. Stefano Giovannoni knew this well when he designed Magic Bunny: transforming a potentially awkward moment into a small household ritual capable of bringing a smile. On the table, among the glasses and plates, this rabbit sits with its sly expression and makes everything feel a little lighter.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on the shores of Lake Orta as an artisan workshop and, over time, established itself as one of the most visionary studios in the field of applied arts. Magic Bunny fully embodies that philosophy: an everyday object elevated into a design icon through the "child's code", that immediate, childlike visual language that Giovannoni has translated into three-dimensional form with rare consistency. It is not simply a toothpick holder: it is a recognizable piece with a personality of its own.
