Alessi — Magic Bunny ASG16 GR | Green resin toothpick holder

There is something irresistible about the way Magic Bunny inhabits the table. A green bunny, suspended between toy and functional object, which discreetly and ironically guards its little secret: the toothpicks are hidden inside its body, ready to be extracted in an almost ritual gesture. The thermoplastic resin gives it a soft, deliberately childlike material quality, far removed from the coldness of metal and instead close to a world of childhood reimagined through the eyes of a brilliant adult designer. Magic Bunny was born from the mind of Stefano Giovannoni, a central figure in the history of Italian design in the 1990s and an absolute protagonist of Alessi's most fertile period. Giovannoni, together with Guido Venturini, created an entire universe of talking objects - anthropomorphic, colorful, narrative - that redefined the boundary between design and the collective imagination. Part of the "A di Alessi" collection, a line conceived to bring quality design to a wider audience without giving up formal research, Magic Bunny has over time become one of the most beloved and recognizable objects in the catalog of the historic company from Crusinallo. We chose it because it is one of those objects capable of bringing a smile without ever being banal. Perfect for anyone who wants the table to say something about them - a refined sense of humor, a curiosity about design that knows how to play - Magic Bunny is the ideal gift for anyone who thinks they are difficult to surprise. At home or in the office, it transforms the most everyday gesture into a small moment of wonder. Project notes: height 14 cm, diameter 7.5 cm. Green thermoplastic resin. Designer Stefano Giovannoni.
