Details: After Richard Sapper's La Cintura di Orione and Alessandro Mendini's Falstaf, Alessi has entrusted a designer of the new generation with the difficult task of touching the public's imagination, exploring the archaic continent of "pot-making". Stefano Giovannoni, whose style expressly recalls a poetics of affection, has evocatively reinterpreted the ancient terracotta pots and the warmth of familiar scents in capacious, pot-bellied, blessed "two-eared" pots - as Catullus sang - produced in functional and practical stainless steel. The "Mami" series also includes baking trays and frying pans in non-stick die-cast aluminum, a pasta set and a pressure cooker, as well as a cutlery set and superb kitchen knives.
