Alessi — Mami SG200/14 B | Stainless steel lid with black silicone

There is something deeply reassuring about a perfect lid. Not only in its function - retaining heat, preserving aromas, sealing in cooking time - but in its form, in the way it settles onto the pot with the silent precision of someone who knows exactly where to be. The Mami SG200/14 B lid is made of polished, durable 18/10 stainless steel, with a knob covered in black silicone resin that introduces a bold chromatic note, almost like a signature: the contrast between the reflective metal and the matte black silicone is one of those details that catches the eye and stays in the memory. The Mami collection was born from the mind of Stefano Giovannoni, one of the most recognizable designers in the pantheon of contemporary Italian design. Giovannoni creates objects capable of evoking familiarity and wonder at the same time - forms that seem already seen, already loved, yet surprisingly new. Mami is perhaps his most mature kitchen project: a cookware set that reinterprets traditional silhouettes with an unmistakably modern formal sensibility. The name itself - Mami - is an act of affection, a tribute to cooking as an act of care. We chose to include the individual elements of the Mami collection because we believe in the freedom to intentionally compose your own kitchen set. This 14 cm lid is designed for those who want to complete or expand their set, or simply replace a piece with elegance. It is the right piece for those who refuse to compromise on aesthetics in the kitchen, even in seemingly minor details. Project notes: diameter 14 cm, height 4.2 cm. 18/10 stainless steel, black silicone resin knob. End of series - limited availability.
