Alessi — Mami SG200/24 | 18/10 stainless steel lid, ⌀24 cm

There is something deeply reassuring about the perfection of an 18/10 stainless steel surface polished to its utmost brilliance. The Mami lid, with its diameter of twenty-four centimetres, is not merely a kitchen accessory: it is the ideal conclusion to a daily ritual, the gesture that seals in the warmth, retains the aroma, and safeguards the promise of a meal. Its soft, generous curvature reflects the light with that almost liquid quality that is the hallmark of Alessi steel at its finest. Stefano Giovannoni created the Mami collection with the same organic sensibility that runs through all his design work: forms that seem to recall something ancient, archetypal, almost biological. Mami was conceived as a complete cooking system - a family of pots, saucepans, and accessories designed to interact with one another with absolute aesthetic and functional consistency. The name itself evokes domestic warmth, care, and nourishment: an emotional vocabulary translated into metal. At Stilmobili, we chose Mami because it embodies exactly that borderline area that fascinates us: where the kitchen stops being merely functional and becomes an object worthy of attention. It is the ideal complement for those who already own a Mami cookware set or for those who want to start building one piece by piece, with the awareness that every element is designed to last - both aesthetically and materially - over time.
