Alessi — Mami SG38/1 | 18/10 stainless steel dessert fork

There is something deeply familiar about the Mami fork, as if the hand recognized it even before memory does. Its profile is soft, almost organic, with curves that seem to have been shaped from clay rather than by an industrial press. Made of 18/10 stainless steel - a noble, durable alloy with timeless brilliance - this dessert fork brings a discreet refinement to the table, capable of transforming even a simple moment into a small ritual of pleasure. Mami was born from the pencil of Stefano Giovannoni, one of the most iconic Tuscan designers in Alessi's recent history, who sought with this collection to reinterpret classic cutlery through the lens of an affectionate modernity. The project revisits the forms of family tradition - as suggested by the name itself, a tribute to the mother figure and the quintessential domestic table - reinterpreting them with a contemporary softness that does not sacrifice solidity or elegance. Over time, Mami has become one of the most beloved and recognizable collections in the Alessi catalog, a benchmark in the world of tableware design. At Stilmobili, we chose Mami because it embodies exactly what we look for when we talk about authentic design: objects that do more than simply function, but also know how to evoke emotion. It is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to build a cutlery set that can stand the test of time without ever seeming out of place, equally suited to a table set for special occasions or a Sunday family lunch.
