Alessi — Mami SG38/5 | 18/10 steel fruit fork

There is something deeply familiar about the shape of the Mami fork: an object that seems to have always existed, as though it had been passed down from generation to generation through the drawers of the family kitchen. Made of timelessly lustrous 18/10 stainless steel, this 17-centimeter fruit fork embodies the quiet perfection of one that knows its role and performs it with absolute grace. The calibrated weight, the polished profile, the curve of the tines: everything contributes to a sensation of use that is, at the same time, practical and pleasurable. Mami was created by Stefano Giovannoni, a Tuscan designer among the most prolific and recognizable figures on the international scene, who has spent decades collaborating with Alessi, transforming every everyday object into a small manifesto of domestic affection. The Mami collection - whose name explicitly evokes the maternal figure and the warmth of a shared table - is perhaps Giovannoni's most intimate work for the Crusinallo Design Factory: a tableware set designed to endure, both over time and in feeling. At Stilmobili, we chose it for those who do not separate aesthetic taste from the pleasure of sharing a meal, for those who set the table carefully even for an informal breakfast and know that quality is perceived first and foremost by touch. It is the right fork to complete an existing Mami set, or the starting point for creating a table setting capable of resisting trends. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, length 17 cm, weight 50 g. Part of the Mami collection by Stefano Giovannoni for Alessi. Dishwasher safe.
