Alessi - "Mami" Tea Cup in White Porcelain

Alessi "Mami" Tea Cup - Simplicity as a Form of Elegance

There is something reassuring about a cup that seems to have always existed. Stefano Giovannoni's "Mami" for Alessi belongs to that rare category of objects that do not amaze, but convince: its soft, archetypal lines evoke the family table, the afternoon tea ritual, and the slow, mindful gestures of those who choose beauty even in ordinary moments.

Why we chose it for you

Founded in 1921 on Lake Orta, Alessi has transformed tableware into a form of creative expression over time - a laboratory where function and poetry meet. The "Mami" collection is Stefano Giovannoni's response to that pursuit: after defining the 1990s with a playful, irreverent aesthetic, the designer arrives here at a new, warm, almost maternal classicism. A countercurrent choice that becomes, precisely for this reason, the most personal one. Stilmobili chose this cup because it tells a story of creative evolution and because it makes a difference on the table without imposing itself.

Ideal for

A refined gift for those who love welcoming guests with care and intention. A personal purchase for anyone wishing to create a cohesive table setting by building the "Mami" family over time. An object that works just as well in a contemporary kitchen as in a more classic setting, because its archetypal character belongs to both worlds.
